The company Kärntner Montanindustrie GmbH (KMI) was founded in 1932. For decades we have been renowned as worldwide leaders in the production of iron ore pigments for anti-rust protective coatings. Through know-how, production technology and cooperations with partner companies we have further developed this major player position and have managed to enter new market segments as well as markets with other industrial minerals.
