Mineral fillers have been known for many years and are widely used as fillers in the plastics industry.

Advances in production technology and research on the use of mineral fillers in order to specifically change certain basic characteristics of polymers have opened up new possibilities for standard polymers. In the past year we have developed a wide range of fillers whose specific properties were specially designed to meet the needs of the plastics industry.

Following the general trend of micronization in the filler sector, Kärntner Montanindustrie has developed its new MIOX^®, Mica and Wollastonite product series for the plastics industry.

In cooperation with machine manufacturers and research institutions we have carried out intense research in order to bring our innovative and high-technology mineral fillers in line with the special needs of the plastics industry.
