Properties of MIOX® Micaceous Iron Oxide in the Ceramic Industry

MIOX® ME-Products

 

ME (metallic effect) products characteristically show a limited grain size distribution with grains of various fineness. These help broaden the range of applications wherever certain metallic effects are to be achieved.

Thanks to the high temperature stability of MIOX® (melting point > 1.500° C) the product is ideally suited for ceramic firing. The appearance does not change in any way. In addition, the great hardness of MIOX® enhances the abrasion resistance of designed surfaces.
