A special, coarser product line called MIOX® ME permits the use of decorative pigments with metallic effects in the ceramic industry. A wide variety of decorative effects can be achieved by limiting grain size distribution and using diverse grain fineness. Owing to the product’s high temperature resistance and other natural qualities, the ceramics are not subject to any process-related limitations. |

Thanks to the unique qualities of MIOX®, such as high density, temperature resistance, lamellar particles and chemical resistance, the product is suited for a whole range of special applications, such as welding electrodes and brake pads, among many others. |
